I'm late, I know~

On 7th July 2012, NTV began airing the first episode of among the most anticipating late-night drama, "Sprout". 6 Johnny's (1 JUMP slash NYC + 2 Bakaleya6 + 1 Jr. + 1 Ebi) + a Seventeen model + two H!P girls + an AKB48 = THIS! (idk 'slash' is even included in mathematics formula, but hell I care!)

(last time I checked, the one who played 'UzuMiyu', she was guest starred in Bakaleya episode 8 and source said she's an AKB48. I'll find the reliable source again when I got time.)

(EDIT: she's not an AKB! *sigh in relief* not that I'm hating on AKB, I just afraid that I give you the wrong info.)

What do you expect? This is another all-stars drama after Bakaleya.

Is that putting idols in the late-night drama becoming a trend now? Damn, that'll make lots of fangirls go insomnia, LOL~ Luckily we have Dramacrazy and Mysoju~

So, as I posting this (yes, it's 14th July 2011, happy anniversary to me myself and all trainee teachers under the batch PISMP 1110 in 27 IPGs all over Malaysia! WE STILL GOT ANOTHER 1 AND A HALF YEAR TO GO, TEACHERS! GAMBATTE!) tonight another episode coming up.

Not going to review this (but I'm sure I'll  review this throughout this post) and not going to recommend it either (the recommending thing, you should wait until the series had finished okay).

So, I watched the 1st episode and I have to say, 30 minutes isn't enough. This series should have an extra duration time! Hello, IDC after that is another AKB drama, I just want "Sprout" to be longer than 30 minutes. Because, believe it or not, as I try to digest the story line of the episode 1 and started to feel the freshness, awesomeness, watsoever-ness of the drama....

Episode 1 end up with THIS!

Narahashi Souhei! Thank you very much for GIVING THE TWIST! That's why many people hate you in the manga. I hope you can b the same in the drama, tho in the fact, YOU. CAN'T HATE CHINEN YURI!

I think I know why he is chosen to be the lead male. Because the manga readers HATE the lead male (no, I'm not lying, I read the manga online as well as the forums as well, they talk about it in the forums so I know!), so giving this role to 'you-can't-hate-this-guy-he's-a-Johnny's' guy is something that making the fans in dilemma. But again, I emphasize! You hate Souhei, that's giving Chinen a great credit for portraying 'Narahashi Souhei' well! True story.

It's just the pilot episode and everyone's took a liking on it. Proof?

I go to a certain Jdrama confession on Tumblr and in within a week, more than 5 confessions about "Sprout" were published. Whether is it about the cast, the correlation between the drama and the manga, the story line, the OSTs, everything's included. In short, I like everything in "Sprout" EXCEPT the time slot and the duration time! AND THE OPENING THEME! Sorry Yamada, but to me, your song is too cherry and loud for a soft drama like "Sprout". I was wondering why the production team didn't even consider NYC's "Tic Tac~ Bokura no Harmony" for the opening theme coz in my opinion, that song fits "Sprout" atmosphere well. NYC got Chinen inside, meh! oh my english!

So, why am I late for this? I even owe my roommate a birthday gift, okay. Sorry, girl, something's RL coming over and I can't give you one on your birthday. But, I'll give you a birthday gift, I promise. I ALREADY GAVE HER! YATTA! A card, ok. Teehee~

Even so, I'm not late in realizing this..

Know what I want to imply here? Those who have no idea about this drama will automatically think the farthest right, the tallest one a.k.a Lewis Jesse of Bakaleya6 IS the lead actor, when in fact the REAL. LEAD. actor is actually the short guy in the middle a.k.a Chinen Yuri.

Nevertheless, "Sprout" is just entertaining. Watched two episode already and  I must say, I won't regret buying the DVD of this drama even though I'm already watching it in the streaming sites. That's how I describe "Sprout".

Till then, have some Lewis Jesse a.k.a Katagiri Hayato. (not Ihara Hayato, shut it minna!)

Hayato: I'mma leaving. Bye! *leaves*

(c) to the picture and GIF owner. Hayato, chotto! *le chasing Jesse*
