Yes, as everyone knows, another detective drama SP being added in HSJ/ NYC's Yamada Ryosuke's resume. Before I continue, have some detective!Yamada GIFs!

What I like about the new drama SP is that the fact that the production team were willing to wait for 5 years just to make sure that Yamada is old and sexy and hot and asdfghjkl but still short (kidding) enough to fit the role of Kindaichi Hajime. Man, that was...*speechless*. 

I mean, IDK what's the best word describe that, I only can say that's a VERY weird but relevant reason to postpone the making of among the famous detective manga into the live-action SP. But, the mangaka reeeeeaaaaalllyyyy wants Yamada, so...

*shrugs*

Even so, as the heroine for "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo - Hong Kong Kowloon Treasure Murder Case" (still a tentative title as of 26th July 2012), it has yet to be announced and everyone is anticipating to see who's going to be the leading lady. As of 26th July 2012, I'd done some research on various JUMP Facebook pages and lots of fans are anticipating for the comeback of the infamous Ryuu x Megu pairing from Tantei Gakuen Q a.k.a they (including me!) want Shida Mirai to be the leading lady for this drama SP.

But there are some actresses who rises as of now. (hint: Emi, Aoi, Ai, Fujiko, Haruka) as well as the already famous actresses like Kawashima Umika and Nishiuchi Mariya MAY be the leading lady.

So who will Yamada the production team choose? Wait and see..
