I told you that there's no way Yamada Ryosuke, the so-called avid fan of Nube francais will be in the live action drama for the manga because really, that dude had to go back and forth between 'Ansatsu Kyoshitsu' filming and this one because it was so jam-packed and considering the location for 'Ansatsu' filming is in rural areas so it made 10 times harder. 

But like Chinen said in the mags, 

Chinen: He's currently doing 'Ansatsu', yeah. But he don't care. He still want to be in Nube tho~

And because Yamada is pretty according to Goo, Nube's director do know him well thanks to 'Risou no Musuko', and the term 'you can't defy Chinen whoever you are'. this happens.

Well, where should I start?

Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Neo or Kindaichi Neo for the short. The first time when it was announced (be it on the producer's Twitter page or in the TV news as well as newspapers), everyone was overjoyed. Everyone. Because like I said before. "4th Gen is sure the best thing happened in Kindaichi saga." And it was proven.

If I had to explain in 10 words about Kindaichi Neo, this is what I will write:

Yamada Ryosuke, Kawaguchi Haruna, Arioka Daiki, star-studded cameos, sophisticated but complicated cases, Narimiya Hiroki, the sub-romance plot, the chemistry between casts, the adult humor, the settings.

Miyuki: seriously Hajime-chan, what is ZRC-chan's blabbering about?

I don't have any favourite case in this series but if I had to pick my favourite episodes in the series, I must say I personally love episode 7 the most. Call me childish or something but episode 7 is so close to social issues regarding teenagers nowadays. I personally love it.

Before I ramble a lot about that episode, I want to do an overall review for this series. Personally I never expect that it will be full with star-studded cameos. To name a few we have Kamiki Ryunosuke and Nakagawa Taishi for episode 1, Chiba Yudai, NEWS's Masuda Takahisa, Mamiya Shotaro and Kiriyama Ren for both episode 3 and 4, Irie Jingi for episode 7 and Fuji Mina for both episode 8 and 9. Also the trio coming back for the series and also the man of the show, Narimiya Hiroki. He will and always be my favourite villain actor. But he has cute sides too. Such as ... calling Yamada Ryosuke a raccoon? XDDDD

Anyways, talking about the fact that all Hey! Say! 7 members will be 21 soon, everyone, and I do mean everyone is anticipated to see whether the said notable 4th Gen Kindaichi Hajime can pull the romance scenes better.  I trust both Yamada and Haruna as a pair of capable actors can pull those scenes as we expected to see and they actually did not fail me in romance scenes. The mushy cheesy romance act that sometimes we even go 'ewww~' when we see it in real life were look way mushy cheesy and lovely in the hands of those two. I can say Yamada is ready for a romance-themed drama like now. Screw fangirls, he needs to live lor. But as most teen detective stories did not focus much on romance, Kindaichi Neo is no exception. Hands down, you have a pair of capable actors and great chemistry because they had been together in the saga for two years and no romance closure? Well, at least the producers had put the indirect confession scene in the final episode of Kindaichi Neo. That's a little progress. But I still give both of them kudos.

And I slowly can accept the fact that 'Saki Ryuji' is made for Daiki. No, I seriously cannot imagine if Chinen is the one being Saki Ryuji. Daiki's acting is so-so, I wonder when will he have a drama on his own? He's the only one in JUMP that did not have solo appearance in drama series. I cannot say anything about his acting skills because his appearance here is just so little and close to 'you are even okay if you're not in here', something like that. Not saying that he is a bad actor, but IDK, I cannot comment on his acting like, yet. What I know, the team had made right decision to have him as Saki Ryuji, despite his age that is even older than Yamada. Hell, Asari Yosuke is 26 and act as 17 year old student in this drama? How mind blowing.

Overall, as a fresh watcher (I say 'fresh' because I do not refer the manga before watching this. I NEVER watched anime version, nor the past generations of Kindaichi dramas, drama specials and movies, with an exception of 3rd gen), Kindaichi Neo is okay. I give 4 out of 5 for ratings. But call me biased, the 4th gen is sure the best thing happened in Kindaichi saga. 9 years is worth the wait.

Dang, believe me he is way original than 10 Korean flower boys combined because he is really picky and witty when it comes to skin care. He had those alluring looks, breathtaking stares and dreamy appearance that any girl dream for a better boyfriend. He can sing, dance, act and making jokes. The best of all, he is a Johnny's idol, specifically one of the notable faces of teen sensation 'Hey! Say! JUMP'

She is your girlfriend material no matter how old you are and where you came from. She had those innocent looks, the beauty every girl will envy and the bods that every girl want and feeling insecure about. She had acted since she was at an early teen age and by time she reached 18, she had acted with your favourite ikemens, from the underlings Fukushi Sota to the idol Nakajima Yuto of Hey! Say! JUMP

They met for the first time during the announcement of the new Kindaichi drama special back in the year 2012. At first he was being introduced first as the fourth actor taking the notable 'Kindaichi Hajime' role thus making him being said as the fourth generation of Kindaichi. Then weeks after she was announced to take the role of the notable 'Nanase Miyuki' role thus shooing away all possible candidates to act alongside him including her own senpai in the same agency, Shida Mirai.

And the rest is history. The fault in their glamour stars. *shrugs*

Just so you know, this morning I had done watching Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo: Hong Kong Kowloon Treasure Murder Case.

I told you at the first thing in this post that Kindaichi Hajime (a.k.a Yamada Ryosuke) isn't the star of his own case. Apparently Yamada himself is not the star of his own drama. I dare say, even though he is the main actor, he didn't expose much in this drama. Same with Arioka Daiki who act as his kouhai, Saki Ryuji. Alright, maybe I just too in awe with Saki's spectacles...

...which was broken at first and then going back to normal after being splashed by hot water. 

LOL WTF! Mind blowing! Next!

I have NO COMPLAINS about Kawaguchi Haruna's acting. NO.COMPLAINS! Period! I can say he and Yamada got pretty convincing chemistry. I grew up liking that chemistry till the end of the SP. Oh, and did I said she was so lucky because she managed to show Yamada (and Daiki) her bare hips? More reasons for AriYama fangirls to jealous at Haruna. 

That is her hips, LOL

To anyone who still want to bash Kawaguchi-san, please rethink. I must say she had grown up being an actress on your dorama radar. I am being bias here, because Kawaguchi Haruna had captured my heart with her acting skills since Yankee-kun to Megane-chan. Because of that reason, I don't even care to watch GTO 2012 or Ouran High School Host club live-action drama. I believe she can pull her character well. Some reviewers call her being 'flat' in this SP but for me, she was just fine. It was her character as Miyuki/Yang Lan that needs her to.be.FLAT.

but she isn't flat when she hits 'Hajime-chan' on the head, LOL

Next, the story itself.

I will make it simple to you. Since it's for 2013 release, the story itself, including how the victims die, the alibis and the motive plus the way of killing, is so CSI: Miami. Something that you would never think had been done in Asia. You never knew that you can make a bunch of cloth hangars just by using steam iron. How.Genius!

However, I am honestly quite disappointed with the ending actually. It's so anti-climax. It's like when you scream loud for a long time until you heard your own voice started to low down abruptly. That was the story are. All the excitement from the beginning died down like a fallen leaf. (what am I talking here?)

Seungri's first try on acting, I should say he do his best on first try. Although he is somehow flat somewhere, but who wouldn't love him and Kindaichi's interactions throughout this SP

As a both VIP and JUMPers, seeing this make me happy to the max! LOL! Kiritani Kenta looks SUPER YOUNG in this drama. Wu Chun...giving me the same aura when he acted in Hana Kimi Taiwan version, again. Never change. 

No language barriers here. Wu Chun and Vivian Hsu speaking Japanese is so ASDFGHJKL~ (even to each other, LOL, but they go converse in Cantonese later on.) 

The only thing that creates a very awkward moment in the whole SP is when Daiki called Yamada 'senpai' when he actually IS the 'senpai'. 

As a conclusion, this SP is as great as expected for Kindaichi's 20th anniversary. Kudos to the actors, you have done well. And who said a drama is worth popular with just Johnny's idols? Let me say it again, although Yamada Ryosuke is the main actor here, he isn't the star here. *firm* 

I want to remind you readers that this whole review is my review based on what I see, hear and feel. You have every right to offend me, I am okay with that. I am still a Yamada fan after all.

Walaupun skrg ni aku tgh follow up 1 Jdrama yg tgh main kat Jepun skrg, that is Yankee-kun to Megane-chan a.k.a Flunk Punk Rumble, aku rite now nk review 1 Jdrama yg main...tym summer 2008 kat Jepun. Kalo bfre diz, aku review Seito Shokun! a.k.a Attention Students/ Dear Students, kali ni aku nk review drama yg b’tajuk Seigi no Mikata atau dlm Englishnya, Ally of Justice.

This 10-episode series d’tayangkan pd summer 2008, as mentioned. Drama ni b’genre komedi romantic, m’ngisahkan kehidupan 2 beradik perempuan, yg mana si kakak, Nakata Makiko t’kenal di kalangan komuniti sekitarnya sbg ally of justice, ttp sikap sbnrnya hanya si adik, Nakata Youko a.k.a Kumako je yg tahu. Simple synopsis, mcm biasa, aku x suka sgt kasi spoiler nih, tp I can’t help myself 2 spoil it throughout this post, so, sy warning awal2 kpd sesiapa yg blom lg tgk drama ni, BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!! N x mcm review2 bfre diz, sy x senaraikan nama2 pelakon yg b’lakon dlm cta ni, u can find it throughout this review also, okey???

So, terus ke review. Basically, like I said, this series adalah adaptasi dr manga dgn tajuk yg sama. Watak utama, Nakata Makiko, played by Shun Oguri’s girlfriend, Yamada Yu, kalo tgk fizikal luarannya, mmg jauh berbeza dgn rupa asalnya. Like she’s putting sth on her lips. Seriously, seksi siot, konon2 nk tiru Angelina Jolie punya lips. I dun know kalo rupa dia yg sbnr mmg mcm 2 ataupun saja tukar imej juz 4 diz drama only…but 1 thing, Oguri mmg b’tuah ada girlfriend mcm dia, shanteekkkkk 2~ fuh! N dia tangani watak 2 dgn cemerlang sekali. Her younger sister, Nakata Youko, played by award-winning former child actress, Shida Mirai as always impressed me. Bfre diz aku ada tgk dia dlm live action series of Detective School Q, together with Kamiki Ryunosuke n Yamada Ryosuke of Hey! Say! JUMP, n all I can say is, dia mmg boleh b’lakon. Expressi muka dia n character dia spjg dlm drama ni, makes me stick 2 the story. Haha~ never expect that she can make the series go popular ne~

For my record, aku x prnh lg tgk the real adaptation of any prince-type character yg biasa d’tunjukkan dlm manga. Yelah, watak hero yg mcm 2, mana dpt jumpa dekat real world. Susah betul nk cari kan?? Tapi aku x nafikan dlm Korean drama n sumtym drama Malaysia slalu tunjuk watak2 yg mcm 2. N in Seigi no Mikata, this is my 1^st encounter of that kind of character. Mula2 skali watak prince-type versi adult yg d’lakonkan oleh Osamu Mukai (y’all bleh tgk dia tiap2 hari Ahad kol 3 kat 8TV, drama My Boys with Kaname Jun n Maki Horikita). He’s the elder sister’s boyfriend yg kemudiannya ‘naik pangkat’ jd suami kpd Makiko. Seriously, mamat ni mmg ensem, at least can let u girls got fangirlism pas ni bila tgk dia. Personally, dia sbg Yoshikawa Naoki mmg bagi the girls out there daydream a lot with his attitude. 1^st impression, aku katakan yup! That character suits him well. Then there goes another prince-type character, tp versi budak skolah laa. I’m not sure whether it is middle school or high school student, but kalo korg ni b’ada dlm lingkungan budak2 skolah, then I must say that Okamoto Riku, played by another rising teen actor, Kanata Hongo (startlaa aku bias ni) is ur prince-type budak skolah yg korg cari2. B’banding bbrp drama yg dia lakonkan sblum ni, t’nyata dia berjaya keluar dr kepompong watak stereotype dia by joining this team as Riku. I tell you, he never fails the fangirls kat luar sana dgn bakat yg dia ada, afterall this is also his 1^st tym being given a prince-type character. I must say that this is his best performance spjg b’gelar actor.

But overall, the story is okay 2 me. Comedy, yup, mmg bisa bagi ketawa pecah perut. They dun have 2 cakap benda2 mengarut lagi kalut…attitude dorg, expresi wajah dorg je dh cukup utk kasi korg gelak. Then honestly, bila dpt tahu yg this is the 2^nd tym Shida Mirai n Kanata Hongo act together (automatically jump into a conclusion yg dorg b’lakon as a couple) it’s juz like….man! both of them r so kawaiii together2, n yet so talented. [FYI, 1^st tym Shida n Kanata work together is in the live-action of Detective School Q, where Kanata is one of the guest actor there]. Looking 4ward on their next project lak (kalo ada, hahahaha~ big glory 4 all Shinata fans ne~ including me).  But then, dun expect sth kinda happy ending 4 those who juz love Youko n Riku pairing..hehe. Once again, SPOILERS!!!!

Oklah, enough of this reviewing, kalo x makin banyak lg aku nk kasi SPOILERS ni nnt. So then, I highly recommended this drama 2 u guys yg tgh m’cari drama2 yg sesuai utk korg gelak2 spjg musim panas ni, ataupun u all mmg kipas-susah-mati Jdrama nih. Seriously, drama ni mmg m’hiburkan n sesuai d’tonton oleh seisi keluarga. Jgn lak korg yg ada adik kat rumah 2 prg buli adik korg lak lps tgk cta nih…..hahaha. Till then, enjow watching~

My 1^st encounter ngan drama2 Jepun…masa 2 aku form 5…n aku ingat lg 1^st drama Jepun yg aku tgk adalah cta ‘Hana Yori Dango season 1 n 2’. Heee….sampaikan aku leh plak t’minat kat pelakon kacak yg pgg watak Rui Hanazawa 2….hehehe, hensem n cool siot…tp zaman addicted ngan drama Jepun 2 dh lama b’lalu…lgpun aku ni bkn jenis stick 2 the status quo (bak kata tajuk lagu dlm HSM 2). Aku nih, universal, tolak fakta yg aku masih x layan cta hantu, cta thriller n cta2 yg s’waktu dgnnya..(esp kalo tgk cta2 mcm ya pd waktu mlm…heeeeee~)

Opening je, merapu je lbh. Sbnrnya, aku x prnh b’henti dr minat produk2 keluaran Jepun ni. Mula2 anime, pas 2 lak skrg, drama pulak. Kalo ikutkan, aku x kisah sgt sapa plakon2 Jepun nih…haitzz…janji cta best. Part 2 aku x nafikan laa…walaupun k’bnykan drama jepun adalah adaptasi dr manga…asal drama Jepun br kuar, aku tros ckp, “tk mesti adaptation dr manga tk”. Walhal actually x semua yg adaptasi dr manga…hehe.

X lupa gak otai2 mcm Takuya Kimura, Takeshi Kaneshiro (kejamnya aku panggil dorg otai..haha) ngan Yamapi (nama pjgnya, kalo x slh, Yamashita Tomohisa, kalo slh sorry ekk, ku sdar mamat ni bnyk peminat)…waktu ku lyn kejap cta ‘HanaKimi’ aku knl ngan si Ikuta Toma lak…hmmmm….then br kali ni aku terasa serius b’knlan ngan ramai lg plakon2 Jepun. Fyi, semua pelakon2 Jepun yg disenaraikan di atas, b’umur dlm lingkungan 20 thn ke atas, jd…..ada gak t’detik di kepala aku, ada ke plakon2 remaja Jepun….yg umo b’belas2 2.. yg feymes, well, tolak Horikita Maki laa (aku br tau yg Horikita Maki 2 br je 22 yrs old, laaaa…aku ingatkan umo dia 2 25 thn…HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA~). Adoiiiiiiiii~

Tp….itu bfre aku tgk satu filem Jepun nih. Nk d’jdkan cta, tym boring2 2 aku lyn anime Prince of Tennis..(skrg ni br sampai eps 11, eps 12 on da go) n mcm biasa, jd private investigator x b’gaji kejap, search psl Prince of Tennis ni kat Wikipedia..pak cik Wikipedia cakap, Prince of Tennis ni ada live action movienya. Maksudnya, watak2 lam anime Prince of Tennis mcm Ryoma Echizen, Momoshiro, Tezuka…akan d’lakonkan oleh org betul laa, yakni plakon2 yg b’tuah kena audition utk filem nih. Filem 2 lak kuar thn 2006, 4 thn dh noo…n aku t’gerak hati nk download cta 2 lak. Dh download, apa lg tgk laa...n masa tgk 2 laa aku put my eye 2 the watak utamanya, si Ryoma Echizen 2. Haruslaa kan, watak utama 2 laa yg akan menentukan sama ada aku nk tgk filem 2 ke x..kehkehkeh. But hmmm…..nah-ah….that movie is so-so….well, I caught my eyes on the main actor, n here is his resume….

Bila dh addicted, mulalaa search 4 drama2 n movie2 yg d’lakonkan oleh dia. K’banyakan drama n movie yg ada dia, dia bnyk jd major supporting role ngan supporting role jk. Ada pun lead role, juz in 2 films only, Prince of Tennis n baru2 ni, 1 film thriller jepun yg b’tajuk ‘GOTH’. Bkn apa, dia ni p’minat bkn main bnyk, kalo x bnyk kat tpt k’lahiran dia, kat luar negara 2 laaa p’minat dia m’lobo2 (bak kata org Swk). Tgk sajalaa kat fanpage dia, statistic m’nunjukkan, p’minat2 yg ada kat fanpage dia, almost majority come from Indonesia…n kat Japan itself, kalo x silap sy, juz 500 lbh je.(seriously I was surprised when knowing that p’minat2 yg join fanpage Kanata juz 500 lbh je….mak aih..sungguh x munasabah langsung). But 1 thing that I n mungkin ramai lg Kanata fans yg stuju, walaupun dia juz supporting roles, dia adakalanya stands out m’lebihi lead role itu sendiri. Let’s juz say that, our kawaii chibi Kana-kun is born with such a great talent in acting. In short, apa2 je watak yg dia bawak, x kisahlaa movie @pun drama, he can handle it well….(currently watching Yankee-kun 2 Megane-chan, he really kick butt as Gaku Izumi, the so-annoying-genius-bespectacled ex-yankee)

So that’s it.Jgn hairanlaa kalo in the later post I keep on praising him, n sounds bias 2 other actor, sbb I juz fangirling him since PoT…huhuhu. Till then (this ending sucks!!) ja-ne~
